VP Koung Breaks Ground for $19 million Agriculture Project

Vice President Jeremiah Koung has broken ground for a nineteen-million-dollar agriculture project in Grand Bassa County

.The project seeks to add value to farming activities and create job opportunities for the locals in the county.

Speaking on behalf of President Joseph Boakai recently, Vice President Koung described the project as a presentation of a significant step toward modernizing Liberia’s farming sector.

Vice President Koung reaffirmed the government’s commitment to providing a conducive environment for Krish Veneer Industry in the county.

He lauded the industry for choosing Liberians as their contractors and urged the management to transition them to legitimate employees.

Speaking at the dedicatory program, the VP advised contractors to use his story as a motivation to do better, while starting from the grassroots.

Meanwhile, Vice President Koung encouraged the youth to remain focused and utilize the opportunities that will come their way by adequately preparing themselves for the jobs ahead.
